The Produce Preservation Program held a week long train-the-trainer workshop in Prince George BC during the summer of 2011. The goal of the hands on workshop was to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to preserve produce grown in their communities. Participants came from a variety of remote BC communities and learned how to harvest, can, dry, freeze and store fruits and vegetables.
